I've recently talked to Gogu in another thread. It seems he mostly
devoted to first, posting articles about Greeks Turks and Romanians in
soc.europe and related groups, and second running that endless argument
with those crazy people.
I decided to stop in for a short period to harrass them a little bit
for him. I hope he gets reimbursed well for that job.

It was pretty regularly disliked. I remember the furor at everyone
exclaiming, what the heck does she have on her head. It might have
looked better if it were a different color. The one she chose blended
in too much with her own hair, thus making it indistinguishable from
her head. That;'s almost like those hats you posted elsewhere, where
the hair was the hat. But, as Camilla plainly did not intend the
effect, it wasn't fashionably attractive. The rule here is if you are
a public person you should probably pretest your outfit on camera, as
well as the mirror. I'm thinking of all those poor starlets who have
obviously beautiful dresses that the next day the fashion columns pan,
just because they did not look good on camera.

American shopping channels feature many makeup artists who purportedly
make most of their money doing makeup for film, tv and models.

One of these is Adrianne Arpel who makes me CRAZY. If I know she is on
I become riveted to the set.

I am not complaining about how she looks. She is in her mid 60s and
looks marvelous, although any idiot can see that she has had cosmetic
surgery and has fantastic skills with the brush with regard to her
appearance on camera.

I am complaining about how she applies lipstick on other people, her
models. It makes me crazy. It is always crooked and not filled in.
Everything else she is great at. But that one thing!!

She is funny and manic too. She talks about her facial hair - she says
she looks like a chimp. I have heard her mention she has a strong
following in Europe.

She has a few books at Amazon, her products are at the expected url.

Probably no one did. It's pretty much lunacy.

do you remember the concentration camp post that came to your blog and
you asked whether to remove it? And I mentioned that I would probably
not but would instead play with it.

I became inspired yesterday after finding a few responses to the post
elsewhere. I dredged up some of my more poetic journal jottings to use
in response.

For the inspiration for this post, I had had a discourse with a guy on
another group as to how the gasoline age gave rise to cross country
shipping and thererfore the birth of the cereal industry. I was
thinking of some termination points.

The poster of the concentration camp I responded to was joking about
the veracity of the crazy concentration camp allegation. You have
copied his statement above, with my replies. He basically said that if
we do end up in concentration camps, then it will be just like George
Orwell's book 1984, and that if anyone wants cigarettes (cigs) while in
prison, please come and see him as he will be selling them after the
lights are turned out. Only he wrote come c me. Thus placing the
meaning of the letter c in doubt. So I asked the poster whether he
meant that the letter is a reference to Count Chocula.

The prelizard girl is my sister. That's too long of a story to tell.
Suffice it to say that she and I have many shared experiences of Count
Chocula, a cereal.

So, as gasoline signaled the beginning of the cereal age, a
concentration camp in the US would be the end of the cereal age, as
represented by the horrible sugary cereals that were predominant when
we were growing up and by the advertising children were exposed to for
these products.

Here are some pictures of Count Chocula. That it could be a Yiddish
word is preposterous of course.

Come now, you know my fondness for gems. There was no particular
connection to the post about concentration camps, other than that.

Let's see...an American custom (possibly also elsewhere), we sign
greeting cards and letters with x's and o's. X- kiss. O - hugs.

The rest of it you will have to figure out yourself.

Well, the meaning to me is either apparent, or suggested.
To you, simply in relationship to your previous post about
concentration camps.
I said I would end up playing with the original story, and here's
evidence of how I did.

by the way, I didn't clip the entire post, the original poster compared
my writing to a Mobius strip. The next poster said that I was a Mobius
trip. I guess after my concentration camp posts, this is true.
