Found this interesting hope you also do....

Food For Thought! This article appeared in the Oakland press (Michigan).

Most of the time, this column takes on a light-hearted attitude. Today, it's
a heavy-hearted one.

It's heavy-hearted because I'm both disappointed and worried about the way
that so many car buyers are ignoring the products of America's automobile
manufacturers. Yes, I know all the arguments pro and con. The reasoning for
buying from foreign manufacturers abound in letters to the editors and
columns by auto writers in our newspapers and magazines.

I assume he's against US exports too, since that would involve people in
other parts of the world being unpatriotic and not buying their own
countries products.

Again, a wonderful sound-bite, but on analysis it is lacking.

it's a good article but what the author of the article forgets is that
todays weapons have a power, accuracy and lethality far beyond
anything of the WWII period. You needed a lot of ammo in ww2 simply...

Acumen, illumen. I had a fire, I had gagged on the smoke, and I was freezing
my butt off. I didn't even want to think about trying to fix it until I'd
warmed up really well. d8-)

I didn't realize it was the turn signal until I went out of the motel, took
a look around, and saw that the lens looked like high tide in an aquarium.
And it took another cup of coffee and some further thought to realize that
was salt water, because the road was salted like a cheap bagel, and that it
might be the cause of the trouble.
