One of the kooks whose efforts turned soc.singles from a place where you
could have something resembling a discussion if you made sure to killfile
the soc.men and ignore the spam into a place where only the tough-minded
(and the snarky) survived the Real-Lifing Cyber "Sisters" (see: Flame
Warriors) has recieved a long-overdue nomination for KotM. I think the
only reason Bobbi hasn't won about as many awards as her friend and
enabler, Steve "Wonderbra" "Size 38 Stretchpants" Chaney is that she has
been opposed by mighty kooks.

But she's not the only soc.singles kook to deserve recognition this month.

Jeanette "Rauni" Runyon is known to many long-time readers of AUK for her
participation in SPP and her prominent role in "The Curio Wars". (Goofy
still kooks way the hell out when Rauni is even mentioned, but as we
(tinw) all know, it doesn't take much to set Goofy off.) I knew her on
soc.singles, where she was part of the alt.romance.chat passive-aggressive
real-lifing invasion that allied with Chaney* and, well, tried making life
miserable for those who didn't dance to her tune.
