I got my copy of IWTB on DVD today.
Finally, an XF gag reel is officially released to the public!! Kickass!!
And wow, that was weird, watching that interview with CC about going green
... what happened to all his hair??? He used to have all those beautiful
grey locks all over the place. Now, with it all cut short, he looks like a
lumberjack.

Well, my copies of the box sets were all bought just during this past year,
and I never noticed any graininess or anything like that. I'm no
high-quality video connosieur, but as far as I can tell, they've got
perfectly good video. I don't see the words 'digitally remastered' anywhere
on them, though, so ... *shrug*

Well, technically, it only counts as a 'spree' if all the killings happen
during a short period of time, with no cooling-off period in between victims
and little or no attempt by the killer to hide his identity. Since we're
hypothesising that Skinner has been at this for years, killing patiently,
hiding his victims, and has gotten away with it, he would be a serial and
not a spree killer.

Single disc at $29.98
Three disc Ultimate set at $34.98
Blu-Ray set at $39.98
First they marketed the X-FIles movie all wrong, and now they are going
to market the DVD all wrong. The prices are all way too high! And who
would buy the single disc for $29.98 when they can get 'two' extra discs
for only $5 more? Very clever of Fox to suck even more money out of
X-FIles fans, everywhere.
