Renee O'Connor saves the world (again)

In need of a Renee O'Connor fix? I know I am, which is why I'll set aside my usual aversion
to monster movies and tune into the SciFi Channel's Monster Ark this Saturday night at 9 p.m. And
it's also why I turned up bright and early for a phone interview with Renee Wednesday morning,
where she talked about the film, working with Xena co-star Lucy Lawless in the film Bitch Slap, and
of course, how she feels about all of us at AfterEllen.com.

I have a question for all. When you see Renee on another movie..or made
for tv movie. Do you still call her by her character name"Gabrielle"..or
just her actual name. Whihc is Evelyn Renee(her real first name)? Same
question for Lucy.

Renee's stage name is Renee O'Connor. When she was married to Steve Muir, her legal name
was Evelyn O'Connor Muir ( Lucy's is Lucille Ryan Tapert), but I don't know if Renee dropped the
Muir and went back to O'Connor after the divorce.

Actually David. I'm looking at Renee's bio. Her birth name is Evelyn
Renee O'Connor. Born Feb 15th 1971. In Katy, Tx. Her nickname Ren, ROC.
She's 5'4".(1.63 m). Not sure why they add this?

Oh. I don't like criticizing much. But I do however do a lot of
celebrity research. For those want info.

Don't know how it is in other places, but here in Florida, and most likely all over the US,
whenever a woman gets married and changes her last name, her maiden name becomes her new middle
name. Probably so the Feds can keep track of her. So Evelyn Renee O'Connor became Evelyn O'Connor
Muir.
