4-07 Locked UP And Tied Down
First air date Nov 9, 1996.
The story starts out with Gabrielle trying to find knots in Xena's shoulders and trying
to massage them away. She asks what Xena's been carrying on her shoulders. She answers she doesn't
overanalyze her life like some people (Gabrielle).
They are both aware of six men sneaking up on them. Xena battles four and Gabrielle
two. One of them has an arrest warrant for Xena for the murder of a woman named Thalassa. She says
she killed her because it suit her purpose. Xena says she will go back to stand trial. She gives
Gabrielle her Chakram. Xena is chained with shackles around her neck and on her wrists and ankles.
During the trial witnesses talk about the goodness of Thalassa. Xena flashbacks to a cave
with Evil Xena threatening to kill a bunch of village women if she doesn't get supplies. Thalassa
volunteers to stay if Xena releases the rest of them. She is tied down at the edge of the lake/sea
where crabs begin crawling on her.
Gabrielle tries defending Xena, but Xena won't help in her own defense and the evidence
is too much against Xena. She is sentenced to life imprisonment on Shark Island.
On the docks Gabrielle talks to Xena, who tells her she's not looking for redemption but,
rather, she needs something to make her feel complete. Xena is taken aboard the prison ship.

This was a huge mistake in my book. The missing scenes ruin the
episode for me. OK, maybe 'ruin' is too strong a word. I think it's
an OK episode as is... but I think it could have been a really great
episode if they had taken care of building the plot by showing that
relationship developing. It's too critical to the finale to have left
it out, especially since they left it out to show some gratuitous
fighting and grave digging.

Wow, would I love that. I'd spend the money to buy all the DVD's
again if they included deleted scenes. I'd want a lot of deleted
scenes so that I'd feel like I got my money's worth but I think
it would be very cool to see what they cut out.

The one in the dream world..and in the desert.
On DVD's..there's always scenes of deleted

So what. What's that got to do with deleted scenes.

My Xena DVD sets do not contain deleted scenes. I wish there were
some for each episode.

Maybe I have a different DVD set than you have? Give me an example of
some episodes that you have deleted scenes for and I'll go check them
out on my set.
