"The media is conservative," is a common refrain.
Conservative media??? (scoffs). Hardly. Okay yes, Fox News. ONE
channel. (Actually to me, a conservative, Fox is still too pro-"let
the government treat adults like children" aka pro-big government for
my tastes. Not a true conservative channel. But I don't feel like
arguing the point, so I'll just concede this one.)
But what about the rest of them???
ABC leans socialist.
NBC leans socialist.
CBS leans socialist.
CNN leans socialist.
MSNBC leans socialist.
PBS leans socialist.
For the last 50 years, television has been dominated by a liberal
media that is constantly pushing the idea, "We need the government to
take care of us, as if we are children too stupid to take care of
ourselves." Clearly the TV media, which is what everybody watches, is
liberal/socialist-biased.

Uh-hunh. You'll excuse me if I don't take your vague handwave as
authoritative.

Concede to who? Who the hell are you talking to?
Troy, haven't you learned yet that when the voices in your head get
loudest, *that's* the time to put the keyboard down and go take a nap?

No, you shouldn't concede it. Fox leans right, and yet you are to the right
of Fox. As a free-market man, you should understand and accept that your
viewpoint is not popular enough to support a media platform, at least not on
television. Perhaps AM radio has something to your liking. You might also
want to consider why it is that you hold such minority opinions.
