Not 'till I've *actually* seen it. Anything otherwise is pure uniformed
speculation.

::laughs:: Well, I don't need to see shit to be able to smell it in
the near vicinity and identify it as is.

Indeed care to share you inside info.. or is it crystal ball, tarot, or an
Ouija board that allow you to make such broad statements?
The uniformed speculators said the same about Moore's BSG *before* they even
saw it too.

Ah, Kweeg. It's called being an individual capable of deductive
thought. :-D! And the ability to form opinions based upon information
already released. Most of the arguments that suggest this will be
crap have already been put forward here on this very newsgroup by
people, often eloquently. In the meantime, the arguments from the
other side of the fence have often been, "But you haven't seen it!"

See, it is not on me to prove myself. It's on JJ there. And in order
for me to give a chance to 're-launching' something I think is just
fine as is (namely, ST:TOS), he had better be so brilliant, so
informed, so GETTING it, so deeply and sincerely faithful to
Roddenberry's vision that he can practically be called the second
coming (that last bit is only a little facetious).

Since I highly doubt that the unoriginal little toad can pull that
off, I think that I'm pretty well entitled to roll my eyes at the idea
of him re-launching anything, especially something that endured long
before he was around. And especially since he can't even manage to
keep his own crap in line.

Kweeg: It's mostly what JJ himself has been saying, not the fanboys.
And most of us critics are looking at all the crap he's been saying
and that's where our big doubts come in. Like his proud proclamation
that he has A Trekkie (singular) on the writing team. What fan
wouldn't flail?

And citing that Nimoy likes it doesn't count. Of course he does; he
needs a paycheck too.
