SPOILERS

Normally I would have good and bad points for the show. Tonight I'm just
left dumbfounded. I'm not sure what I saw.

Clark is held captive because a girl is sending letters to Lionel. A psycho
tortures Clark. Lex sweet talks Kara into getting her head examined.
Lionel appears to have Clark's best interest in mind...

The thing is.. the viewer is left to believe that Lionel was
legitimately trying to protect Clark,
because there can be no other possible motive for that elaborate
scheme. What other motive was
there?

Lionel's putting Clark in a cage was really weak given the rest of the
story.

Wish they'd let the Lex/Karra relationship run longer.

simply an excuse to bring Kara out and it didn't even match what we've been
shown from earlier shows.

That would have been more interesting. They could have had Kara's memory
return and then she could have played Lex while living there. And what an
insult to the "genius" Lex to have a super being living under his nose.
