Holy god almighty was LARA ever a crapfest. --- SPOILERS

SPOILERS

I haven't seen any Canadians posting how good the episode was (or bad it
was). Was there a blackout?

"Lara" good points:

1. The dialogue between Lex and Lionel near the end was starting to get
somewhere then it ended. Same old stuff though.

That was all.

Bad stuff -- too much to mention all :

1. Zor-el's magic medallion.

2. Same color paint on the Kent living room wall for 22 years.

3. Kara knows how to instantly work a Polaroid camera -- she even knows it
IS a camera.

4. Same picture of Martha is on the table for 22 years and isn't faded.

5. El's destroy more personal property in sibling rivalry fight.

6. Why didn't Lara just have Clark on Earth and avoid having a baby endure
a flight through intergalactic space?

7. Lana isn't a clone and they blew another great chance for a story --
but now they tease us with the possibility of using Lara's DNA for a clone.

Not really. That was the Fortress of Solitude set that they used.

I liked the part where Lara told Clark all he ever thought about was
himself.. which is true. Seeing Kara telling Clark to buzz off and
shoving him was good. I wish they had kept that animousity going, it
was more interesting. But sadly, at the end, it was hug time, and Kara
becomes another Clark worshiper like everyone else on this show.
That's a big problem. No permanent character dislikes Clark. Not even
Lex. Clark barges in and demands from Lex where Kara is.. Hello,
Clark.. the government grabbed her, what the hell does Lex have to do
with this? Yet Lex still puts up with Clark's crap and still...

That is true. If Lana really turns evil, it will help the show. But
I've got a feeling Lana can do whatever evil she wants, and everyone
will forgive her and hug her because she's Lana. Dumbass Clark and Lex
will always love her, no matter what she does.

Yes, that was cute.

No, it was a government lab. Department of Domestic Security. That
doesn't explain why Lex had free reign to walk around, but that's how
it is in Smallville. No matter how top secret something is, anyone can
wander in and touch it. It's kind of amusing that Clark and Lionel
were able to just walk in as well.
