Reb Brown had done the incredibly awful Captain America and Captain America
II movies, and Cage and Cage II with Lou Ferrigno as the lead actor. He had
small parts in lots of 1970s shows like Rockford Files (the lifeguard in the
Gearjammers 2 part episode), Kojack, Emergency, Chico & The Man, Fantasy
Island, Three's Company, and Love Boat.

So you're agreeing, then.

History is made at night. Character is what you are in the dark.

Sure. However, there used to be a type of character actor back in the
1960s-70s that was the often a lead in TV movies and other dreck, and who
would have a long history of appearing as minor characters in good shows,
and with substantial roles in awful shows.

It seems like there is a much higher turnover in the TV industry now and you
don't see character actors showing up as much anymore. Even though they were
usually awful (Bonanza and Gunsmoke recycled the same stage hands, town
drunks, villains, etc.), it was fun to see the same people in different TV
shows.

Sean Connery has been in a lot of shitty movies. The Avengers remake,
several 1950s cruds, Indiana Jones III, The League of Extraordinary
Gentlemen, Highlander in which he looked like a silly old fruit dressed up
like a Spanish swordsman even though he was about 60 at the time.

Is Sean Connery very over-rated mostly because people remember his James
Bond movies with a lot of affection??

Has he ever won an Oscar?

No. He's made a lot of other good movies, too.

I think just about everyone would disagree with you about "The Last
Crusade", I happened to watch it again the other night and throughly
enjoyed it.

Highlander was silly (a Spaniard with a Scottish accent?) but it was a
very entertaining movie and obviously was quite successful.
