So a Miami Vice movie has been made from the TV show
There is talk of a Magnum PI movie from the TV series

So how about a Rockford Files Movie - not the Tellie Movies

So how would we like to see as

James Rockford
Rocky
Becker
Angel

Beth?

It wouldn't work. No way. No how. I wouldn't even bother to watch
them.

Any actors work on both TRF and Miami Vice ? The shows ran 5 years
apart and MV seemed like a natural follow on to TRF, going from 1970's
to 1980's in style..JG

You just struck a nerve, buddy. Not only have I been collecting Rockford
DVDs, but I have also been collecting Miami Vice DVDs as well. (No plans to
collect Season 5, since Jan Hammer didn't provide the musical score for that
final season.)

My fovorite MV episode was "Payback", which had cameo appearances by
Roberto Duran and Frank Zappa. One of the characters, Earl Hodges, in that
episode was also in "Paradise Cove." He played C.C. Calloway's gum-chewing
nephew, Cliff. The actor's name is Fred Herrick.

I think Mel Gibson would make a good Rockford.

A while back one of his movies was on and he was a small house that
looked kind of like (and may have been) a doublewide, and I remember
thinking he would make a good Rockford. I about fell out of my chair
when he stepped out the door and it looked like the same stretch of
beach Rockford lived on!
