For those who have been waiting for a Region 4 release - (Australia, New
Zealand, Oceania & South America), Universal in Australia will be releasing
The Rockford Files, Seasons 1 & 2 boxed sets this coming Wednesday, 6th
February, 2008. They will be similar in format to the Region 2 release, i.e.
PAL format.

This information is unconfirmed, except I have a pre-order for both box sets
this coming Wednesday.

For further releases, check from time-to-time on the wikipedia link

Further update to previous message.
Just purchased Seasons 1 & 2 yesterday and find that they are both sets are
multi-region releases for Regions 2, 4 & 5, PAL format. They cost me AUD
32.50 (USD 30.00) per season which is pretty good value for Australia. Worth
the price for me though as it has been a looooooooong wait :) - Now to crank
up the VCR, oops I mean DVD player and see how the quality of the transfer
is. Fingers crossed that they are better than the first Region 1 release.

Now I forget which episode was initially broadcast in a two-hour time
