Did anyone ever meet Garner, back in the day? I've read alot of sites
that say he was 6'3, but I doubt that. He was a good chunk shorter
than the 6'5 Chuck Connors in Move Over Darling (If Connors really was
6'5) and a good chunk shorter than Tom Selleck in Rockford (Selleck
being, allegedly, 6'4).

I think some of those guys became fruits out of necessity. Hollywood is
notorious for being run by rich fruiters who force young guys to earn their
roles on the casting couch. This has been happening for a hundred years. The
first thing a gay star does is get married so that you don't know which of
the married stars are gay and which ones are straight. Look at Tom Cruise,
Michael Jackson, Rock Hudson, etc., all have been married.

No doubt Garner had to take care of some old Hollywood fag in order to earn
his chance, and when Garner got to be a force, he had his chance to force
some young stars to blow him. I guess Selleck was one of them.

I can't believe you are going to judge a man on his height and say that
those two men are dating each other because if movie magic and such. If
your can judge anyone this way then you are worse than the people you
described in your letter. I hope that I read your letter wrong and you
are not that shallow.

It's the economics of Hollywood. Gays promote other gays. A non-gay actor
has to swallow a few loads on the way up and then give it to the next guy.
