HOTSHEET FOR MONDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2008

-- RADIO ONE --

1. THE CURRENT:

A deadly listeriosis outbreak has left many Canadians wondering about
food safety. The Current looks at the federal government's role in
protecting Canada's food supply. And, with an election looming, find
out where Canada's political parties stand on the issue. And speaking
of food…Vitamin B12 is found in beef, fish and milk. A new study
suggests that a B12 deficiency could cause the human brain to shrink.
But, that claim has vegans crying foul. That's on The Current, with
Anna Maria Tremonti, this morning at 8:30 (9:00 NT) on CBC Radio One.

2. WHITE COAT, BLACK ART: ***Also heard Saturday afternoon at 4:30 (5
NT) on CBC Radio One***

septembre 2009.

HOTSHEET FOR WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 20 & 21, 2008

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2008

1. THE HOUSE:

Stephen Harper claims the Liberal Party has lost its stranglehold on
the votes of new Canadians - if it ever had one. This week on The
House, editor of India Abroad Canada and a writer for The Caribbean
Camera offer a reality check. That's The House, Saturday after World
Report at 9 a.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC Radio One.

2. GO:

Canadians are obsessed with the weather - no wonder, since this
country has so much of it! But they're also fascinated by the people
who forecast the weather. So this week on Go, Brent Bambury and the
gang indulge that fixation when they pit three of Canada's finest
forecasters against one another in a game called "Weather or Not".
Also on the program, Edmonton-born singer-songwriter Wendy McNeill.
That's Go, Saturday at 10 a.m. (10:30 NT) on CBC Radio One.

3. THE DEBATERS: ***Also heard Monday night at 8:30 (9 NT) on CBC
Radio One***

SET = Senior Executive Team

from the not-so-friendly Friends of Canadian Broadcasting web page,
an internal CBC mail to the troupe/troops

Yes, he does write like this.
Yes, he is a serious runner and needs a track or circuit most
days. He has respectable times.

There might be a slightly different French version somewhere.

Canadian Media Guild, the big English-language CBC union is
mentioned in the last paragraph. Prepare for a long lockout.
