Hey, ya know, waterboarding isn't all that bad. This company
thought it would be a good motivator!
After an employee "volunteered*" to have a gallon of water poured
in his face while lying face-up head-down on a hill, his boss
said, 'Now guys, you see how hard Chad was struggling for a
breath of air, how hard he was trying to breathe? That's how hard
I want you to go get back on the phones and make some sales.'
*He says he didn't know what he was volunteering to do. Even if
he did, would you, as president of the company, defend an
employee who did this to another employee?
"Prosper, which is located in Provo, describes itself as an
educational and coaching business that assists people who are
looking for ways to get out of debt or increase their income."
