Will AI have a comment on Archie's dad?

It's all over the news now. On TV, CBS this morning talked about it...CNN,
and MSNBC on the web have stories about it, it's making news on this website
in England, and I'm sure it's been on many other places. I wonder what Ryan
will say about it now since he'd almost have to since the story is
everywhere you turn.

I hope SNL spoofs it. You'd see Simon Cowell duct taping Dadchoo to a chair
or something.

ABC and NBC also covered it on their morning shows. No new information,
simply repeating the speculation, and mentioning that none of the
participants was willing to be interviewed.

The timing of the TMZ release meant that the subject percolated over the
weekend, when the spin doctors couldn't do damage control. It will probably
be mentioned on the show, given they have time to address it, and given
their past practice of commenting on Paula's brain fart, and other similar
controversies.

I don't even vote for the guy....don't really want him to win, but
even I'm sick of the story. (So sick of it that I haven't even read
much about it....it just seems to be way out of control.)

It's beginning to take on comic dimensions. It will however, have
some kind of effect on perceptions. Continuing with the comedy, think
of how many ways it can be spun. If David doesn't do well, or if he's
nervous, it can be perceived as "Minor torn away from his guardian on
show". If he does well, "Boy triumphs with new-found independence!"
It could end up being a win/win situation for David. ...

It's unlikely. Sure, there is no thing as bad press. But I don't think you
comment on it yourself, when it's distasteful.

Ryan will probably say some oblique comments about it during Tuesday's
show that doesn't really address the issues of the story so the TPTB can
marked off in their checklist that they have publicly addressed the
issue even though they didn't. Kinda like what Ryan said about Paula's
critiquing Jason's "two songs" gaffe.

You know my feelings on what they _should_ do.

They're going to have to address it eventually, especially if
Dadchuleta has further tampered with the other contestants.

About the same that he said about Paula, or even less.
