In short, his take on the subject:
- Jeff was never allowed "backstage", nor were other contestant's friends
or relatives.
- The new restriction is that Jeff is no longer allowed in the arranging
sessions, since none of the other contestants...

I hope the Supreme Court steps in and names this year's winner,
obviously no lesser authority can solve these complex and serious
problems.

It would be a 5/4 split decision, along partisan lines.

If you are referring to Bush v Gore, that decision was 7/2.

No, the general trend over the last couple of years has been 5/4 on many
decisions, which on the surface would appear odd, since all the justices
claim to be interpreting the strict letter of the law. They are all very
bright, yet when they make their interpretations, they seem to be very
split in their views. It doesn't make the court or their decisions look
that strong, and I think it somewhat taints their history.

Actually, Breyer (among others) nearly claim the contrary. The whole
"living constitution" theory is a fig leaf for rewriting according to
what one feels about the law.

Don't be so sarcastic.
I firmly believe that, by the end of this season, there will be
several legal teams poring over the contracts, seeking remedies for
some of the stuff which occurred.

Which should be expected from a true hard-right conservative.
The very liberal and the very conservative share a common disdain for
overzealous police powers.
