And how many lives have been destroyed by a "straight" type of relationship?
There is nothing you can say about gay relationships that can't also be
applied to heterosexual relationships.
Frankly, there are a lot bigger problems in this world than who is
marrying who, and people need to get their noses out of other peoples'
bedrooms.

Love is love, and everyone regardless of sexual orientation deserves
the right to be protected by our country's laws and have their
partners protected as well. We're talking medical care and insurance,
the right to be by their sick or dying partner's hospital bedside,
children's educations and health care as many adopt, and if their
partner dies before them the right of any spouse to the financial
security awarded to widows and widowers.
As one of my closest friends would say, there's nothing queer about
loving another human being.

The only lives it's destroyed are the ones who've been the victims of
hatred and discrimination by people like you.

Well, I guess that is one way to define marriage, if the marriage is
bad.
