From the AI board -- someone just posted that Josiah got a call from The
Ellen Show this morning.
The producer who called indicated to him that the first thing she said when
she walked into the office this morning was 'Get Josiah on this show ASAP.'
She loved him and was upset that he had been cut.
They are flying him out on Sunday and he will be taping Monday. He will be
performing an original composition called: One Last Song.
It is a message board posting, but this really sounds plausible.
I don't know how far in advance she tapes, I think it's maybe only a day or
two.

I don't think he should sing an unknown song. It is hard for people to
like songs they never heard b/f. It takes me at least 10 times hearing a
song b/f I like it.

I think every song you've ever heard was, at one point, unknown. That
argument is a fallacy for the process of hitmaking at least, though it may
be your personal preference (and there's nothing wrong with that.)
I guess I'm just saying he's not only NOT taking a risk, he's doing what
every artist with a hit song has ever done, at least once.
Peace,
Pen

Of course but when a song has radio airplay you hear it over and over as
opposed to some unknown on a tv show. Like Jordin Sparks Tattoo song I
hated when I first heard it and the dj even said you have to listen to it
a few times. Also we saw how well his last bold move worked out
(dismissing the band).
I recall Justin Timberlake sawing it was a bad move singing a new song at
an awards show b/c no one knew it.
