Idol is Tanking
Filed under: TV News > American Idol

All good things come to an end!
According to a new report, last Tuesday night's American Idol only
reeled in 21.25 million viewers — good but not Idol good.
Apparently, the show has not been that 'low' since its second season
in 2003.
What's the deal?!
It's just not been their season!
Dancing with the Stars is creeping up and could take away Idol's king
of the TV jungle crown. Dancing has averaged 21.67 million viewers on
Monday nights this season, and the distance between the two appears to
be getting smaller.
Fire Paula and shake things up for next season!
This trend (below) needs to end.
Fox must not be pleased!

If Archie wins, then the Cook fans have every right to scream foul.
Bob said the same thing
-- that this could be (to play to my
conspiracy theorist angle) a "wink and nod" thing. I just don't see
Jeff as a "wink and nod" kind of person.

No one's going to scream foul. Everyone is going to leave happy.

I hope we can all be good neighbors online!

The commercials and all that peripheral stuff has made parts of it
unbearable, including that call in segment, and Ryan continuing to do
commercials after the show returns from the commercials is really
annoying to me. I don't really think I could watch it without
pre-recording it. That's one of the main reasons I enjoy seeing the
results in the newsgroup before it airs on the West Coast. Then I can
watch it when I feel like it.
