All of you stratagists are brilliant, I must say, but I wonder if you
see American Idol too much through a political lens. I certainly see
a relationship between the judges' opinions and their power to sway
popular opinion. I can see how next week, the judges and producers
choice of songs have the power to put certain singers at an advantage.
I read your posts and sometimes feel you take the manipulative going-
on too far. The idea that the show chose a winner from the beginning
and has manipulated perceptions to incubate that winner in the
public's eye takes the conspiracy too far IMO.
I generally feel that Randy and Simon call it as they see it, and no
single contestant has escaped their criticisms.
