Who is the most popular person online? I don't mean who's googled the
most...I mean a poster who posts in this newsgroup, and that newsgroup, and
that newsgroup, and so on.

Does anyone here have a personal website they want to share with the
group? It might just be pictures of your trips (like Rocky, who was a
founding member of the ng), it might be a part-time or home based
business you have and want to "plug," it might be a fan board, a hobby
board etc.

I don't. I use to have a personal web space through bellatlantic.net
but when it evolved into verizon.net; it went "poof" into cyberspace
somewhere. I've been thinking about creating a small space for our
hobbies and interests and I'd enjoy getting ideas from everyone who has
them that I might use, without infringing on any existing copyrights, of
course, about them.

For instance, I've got a hobby or two, outside of Usenet :-). I could
easily see a personal website with pictures and information on what I
collect as well as a message board for those who share my interest.
Maybe even a part of it could be devoted to my wife's hobbies and some
info on any of our family, and out lives, that any of us wanted to be a
part of it.

Carrie Underwood's love life has taken a backseat to her country music
career, and the American Idol fourth-season champ said she wouldn't want it
any other way.

If I found something worth finding by now I would have made time for it,
but right now I'm so busy I don't need a boyfriend," she told Fox News in a
Tuesday report. "This year is the year for me to be on the road and focus
just on myself. That's what I want."

Underwood recently split from Gossip Girls actor Chace Crawford after the
two began dating last fall.

Prior to dating Crawford, Underwood was romantically linked to Dallas
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. She was then rumored to be dating British
singer Oliver Trevena in February 2007 before new reports that Underwood
and Romo were still romantically involved surfaced in both April and June.
However according to Underwood, the entire Romo romance was a tabloid
fabrication.

It's not as though Underwood doesn't have enough on her plate without
having to worry about finding Mr. Right.

Despite having the daunting task of preparing for last week's American Idol
seventh-season finale, eventual winner David Cook still took the time to
visit a friend in need of support.

Cook traveled to a Los Angeles hospital to see former Idol seventh-season
semifinalist Luke Menard, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin
lymphoma.

"I love Luke and I just wanted to show up and make sure that he understood
that I love him and know that if there's anything I can do for him and his
wife, sign me up," Cook told People in a Wednesday report.

Menard was eliminated in early March on the cusp of becoming one of the Top
12 finalists -- but before he was booted, the 29-year-old from
Crawfordsville, IN said he became good friends with Cook and fellow
seventh-season contestants Michael Johns and Jason Yeager.

"Luke, Michael Johns, Jason Yeager and myself, we kind of buddied up one
day at Hollywood week," Cook told People. "We called ourselves the four
horsemen. Any time one of your own is going through something as horrible
as that, it makes everything else seem a little bit insignificant."

Cook is familiar with supporting a loved one with cancer -- as his older
brother Adam has been battling brain cancer for 10 years.

I know I'm a day or two late, but was wondering if anyone happened to catch
Mario Cantone on "The View" the other day? I have a friend who actually went
to HS with him. He verges on being annoying most of the time, but he always
makes me laugh at least once on that show. I generally watch his "reports"
after awards shows. I had no idea why he was on, but apparently, it was all
about "Sex and the City". Near the end of his segment, he was asked about
reality TV. He went on to do the most hysterical impression of David A. He
seriously had all of the mannerisms down pat. Then he topped that by doing
Bruno from DWTS giving a "critique" on Jason Taylor. It was worth
half-watching "The View" that day for!

Man charged with murder at 11 arrested again

A man charged with murder at age 11 who spent the rest of his childhood
in custody was arrested Friday on a drug charge after undercover
officers allegedly caught him selling at a gas station, police said.

Nathaniel Abraham, 22, was picked up about 1 a.m. in his hometown of
Pontiac and charged with possession with intent to deliver narcotics,
said a police sergeant there, Brian McLaughlin.

As a baby-faced sixth grader, Abraham shot and killed a stranger who was
leaving a Pontiac convenience store, according to testimony. When he was
arrested in his classroom, his face was painted for Halloween. He was
convicted of second-degree murder at age 13 in the slaying of Ronnie
Greene and was released from juvenile custody in January 2007.

A message was left Friday for attorney Daniel Bagdade, who had
represented Abraham.

Police said Abraham was in possession of 254 pills they believe were
Ecstasy. Plainclothes officers said they saw what they believe to be a
hand-to-hand drug sale between Abraham and a person on a bicycle.
