After a double elimination last week, there are 10 couples tonight that
will perform either a Tango, or a Jive. Each had 5 days to learn a brand
new performance, and it seemed like maybe it was more of a challenge
than the previous two weeks?

To start the evening off, Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez did a fun and
entertaining Jive, which I thought to be terrific. She looked amazing,
but I was a bit surprised the judges didn't remark about her feet
leaving the floor, and was no mention of it?! Bruno and Len commented
that she lost the timing a couple of times, and needs to watch her arm
movements, but complimented her on the fact that the Jive is hard enough
to do for someone that can hear, so I think they gave her props for
doing so well, in spite of not really hearing the music. Carrie Ann said
they have wonderful team work, but that her hands were a bit "pancakey"
and needed to work on that! Okkkkayyyy!

He got struck by a 14-wheelers while driving home and died at the scene. Fox
said tomorrow's show is cancelled and this week's competition may move to
Wednesday and result show on Thursday. Fox also considers skipping AI for
one week. Fox will air Simon Cowell memorial special in American Idol time
slot tomorrow.

This has not hit any internet news source I can find including Fox News in
LA. I'm not buying it.

News has just broken that David Cook has left the AI7 competition.
Details are sketchy but it appears that he has gone out on his own.
Plans are being discussed to either bring back a previously voted out
contestant or one of the top 24 that the judges feel could step right
into the competition.
