It is the 8th week of DWTS this season, and there are five couples left
to try to make it to the semi-finals next week. Each couple will dance
two dances again tonight..a Latin dance, and a Ballroom dance. Also this
week legal lifts are allowed, if they fit the character of the dance
routine.

Kristi & Mark begin the evening with the Quick Step as their first
dance. I thought it was entertaining and enjoyable, and I'm certainly
not a dancer, but I thought her leg work seemed "off". Len said he'd had
a bad day, but their dance cheered him up. Said it was light and
fabulous, and a great performance. Bruno said that earned her a super
ticket to the semi-finals and there was great detail in the routine.
Carrie Ann said she likes that they dance towards the judges and not
away, but am glad she pointed out that Kristi was out of sync a little
at the beginning, as then I know I wasn't seeing things.

Next up are Mario & Edyta doing a very graceful and beautiful Viennese
waltz. Bruno called him DWTS Prince Mario, saying it was romantic, and
had a lot of polish and distinction. Carrie Ann commented on his good
posture, and that the lift enhanced the routine. SCORE= 27

Len Goodman to hip-hop singer Mario after he had just finished doing
the Viennese waltz:

car: not very elegant, and sometimes you see things that you'd rather
not!"
