.. but I'am taking a long -overdue trip to New England to visit my
sister, and to see a niece and five great-neices and nephews who
haven't seen me for two years, I could easily take a 10 day vacation,
but instead I'm leaving Thursday Morning 5/8 and will be coming back
Monday Evening 5/12. That way I won't Miss any American Idol shows!
I think I;'m now officially beyond Lithium; I may require shock
treatments by the time this season is over. ;)
As it is, I'm going to go through withdrawals from posting to the NGor
5 days. Myh guess is that there will be about 3,500 unread posts when
I get back to catch up on!

It was a long hard fault battle, but we are now down to the last.....
In the blue corner he have Kimberly Caldwell, who got to the finals by
ousting Deadly Diana DeGarmo 7 to 2, Little Lisa Tucker 7 to 1, Beautiful
Brook White (sorry Itoshi) 8 to 5, and in a very close match up Country
Kellie Pickler 7 to 4.
In the red corner the equivalent of Rocky Marciano we have Vivacious
Katherine "V" McPhee. Katherine dominated the red side of the board with
not just solid victories, but landslide victories that seem to match the
Humphry Nixon presidential election. Katherine beat Mikalah "Commissioner"
Gordon (ala Boomer) 8 to 1, Jodan "Spank Me" Sparks 8 to qoose egg, Syesha
"Straighten my hair out sooner" Mercado 13 to 2, and Carrie "I'm an F'ing
Underdog???" Underwood 9 to 2.
So there are your finals......
Kimberly Caldwell (S2) V Katherine McPhee (S4).
Thanks for playing guys, I enjoyed it. I wonder if the ladies would like to
vote for the guys??? I know there were some ladies that voted for these
ladies...but are the men willing to vote for men????

In other words, how many of you plan to still be here after this season
of American Idol is over in a few days, and the winner has been
"crowned" The A. I. of Season 7?
I know some of you disappear once the season is over, but in the past
two years, since I've been posting, quite a few of the "regulars"
continue to come here and discuss everything from "soup to nuts" (ok!
ok! guys...I mean like cashews, peanuts, etc.!!) <:)) and mostly a
good time is had by all, though as with any group, from many "walks of
life," there will always be some conflicts, but generally the atmosphere
around here is much better, and some MOST interesting topics come up for
discussion. This year, being an election year, I fear there will be TOO
many political threads (boooooorrrring!) but hopefully there will be
many more subjects we can chat about.
Just for fun......sign in if you plan to continue to participate in the
newsgroup during the off-season?
Hoping to see a lot of you here, where the "party" never ends!
