I'm trying to get the link for this, but there is a link to a radio
appearance by David Cook on his big day in Missouri where the DJ's mentioned
that REO Speedwagon invited him to jam with them on stage.
Along with Springsteen's band, it's interesting how rockers are connecting
with this guy. I'm getting the feeling, with the age of these classic
rockers, that their children are watching this show and they are finally
seeing someone representing their music in this pop culture medium of today
and doing so well.

Commentary: 'American Idol'
To advance his career, Archuleta should lose 'American Idol'
By Sean P. Means

Article Last Updated:05/09/2008 10:09:07 AM MDT
The teen girls scream for him. Their parents smile at such a nice boy
singing so well. The judges praise his performances. The voters have put him
at or near the top week after week.
The way things are going, it looks as if David Archuleta - the
17-year-old singing sensation and the pride of Murray, Utah - will be
crowned the victor of this season's competition on "American Idol" on May
21.
And, at the risk of speaking sacrilege against a fellow Utah resident,
that's a shame.

I hope all of you moms have a really great day tomorrow! Also the single
dads, that are raising their children. our ex daughter in law left our
son and two daughters, when they were just 11 and 12 years of age for a
ex boyfriend, and eventually our son remarried a lady with two children,
but he has been a remarkable dad, as I know a lot of you are too!
I lost my dear mother in Nov. '06, and not a day goes by when I don't
think of her and miss her. I bought a pretty red Begonia plant to take
over to the cemetery.
DH is taking me out for brunch, and the kids/grandkids will be here in
the afternoon for dessert, and then DD (RavenLord) also my d-i-l and her
daughter are going to go see the movie MAID OF HONOR. I'll put supper in
the crock pot in the morning, so it will be all ready for us when we get
back home from the movie.
This is an especially wonderful Mother's Day weekend for me, as I had a
scare several days ago, when my mammogram report came back as
"abnormal", but went in for more testing yesterday, and all is fine!
(whew!) I think I got a few more grey hairs from it though!

This newsgroup is very amusing and entertaining. One can get lost in the
threads, reading posts, and then laughing at some of the responses. And then
it can really get hilarious with the flamewars. Some of the material and
personalities here would make for a good sitcom:-)

Just as punctuation and spelling wasn't taught in yours. You posts look
suspiciously like texting, which places your probable age at around 15.
******************************************************************************8
Just like the fucking coward you are.
Asking for punctuation on usenet is like asking for your shit not to stink. It doesnt make
any difference, isnt expected on USENET, and is only pointed out by feeble minded fucktards
that cant win any factual discussions.
Youve made dozens of declarative statements, that have all proven to be total bullshit.
Just a poser (notice that I refuse to use the French spelling. It is usenet after all)
You wouldnt last one week in combat. Friendly fire erase your pompous ass.
Now, back to Vandar and Rudd. You deserve each other
LMAO
