The deadline for week 10 has passed! Attrition continues. We have 36
players this week, down 4 from last week. Everyone let it ride. A lot of
players racked up X's and v's this week, representing mathematical
elimination, or the verge thereof.
Woof Ridge currently leads the game, with 28 points. She leads the group
of 31 players who have Syesha going home tomorrow night. If that happens,
Woof will add 11 points to her score, for a total of 39. The second-place
player, Itoshi, currently has 25 points, with an 11-point entry riding on
David Cook's elimination on Wednesday. Such an outcome would put Itoshi in
the lead with 36 points, and would bring Diane, silos onit, and Suzanne D.
up in the ranks. David A. is on only one entry, which is worth 3 points
and will not affect the lead.
Since no one predicted Syesha to win, the outcome of our game could
effectively be decided tomorrow night. The elimination of either David
this week would result in all 36 active players having the same list,
making the AI finale merely ceremonial in terms of this year's Bragging
Rights.
X - mathematically eliminated
v - on the verge of elimination tonight

This Week in American Idol History: The Top Three The Most Important
Round of All?
Donna Reynolds | 05/12/2008
This week, the three finalists sing three songs each to vie for a slot
in the American Idol 7 finale. Who will make it to the finals? While
we dont have the answer to that quite yet, we can look back at
previous seasons to see if any patterns emerge that might help this
years group get there. Read on for more.
Were down to three, and this may be the most important round of all.
Only two can advance to the finals, and its always heartbreaking to
watch that third person, who has worked just as long and hard as the
top two, come so close. Until Season 6, the top three results had
been fairly predictable. And there had even been a correlation
between the performance order and the elimination, in that the person
eliminated had always been the first person to perform.

Idol is Tanking
Filed under: TV News > American Idol

All good things come to an end!
According to a new report, last Tuesday night's American Idol only
reeled in 21.25 million viewers — good but not Idol good.
Apparently, the show has not been that 'low' since its second season
in 2003.
What's the deal?!
It's just not been their season!
Dancing with the Stars is creeping up and could take away Idol's king
of the TV jungle crown. Dancing has averaged 21.67 million viewers on
Monday nights this season, and the distance between the two appears to
be getting smaller.
Fire Paula and shake things up for next season!
This trend (below) needs to end.
Fox must not be pleased!

I was curious if anyone saw the show, and what they thought of this
episode, starring Ace Young and Brandon Rogers? I don't watch the show,
but I quickly programmed it in before DWTS came on, as was going to
watch that, and I was so MAD at myself, as didn't power off the VCR,
after I programmed it, and didn't notice it till 10 minutes before the
end! :-(
Our cable station is going over to all digital June 3rd, so I'm going to
get a DVR to record on? I don't know anything about them, and hate
having to learn something new again!! Maybe a TiVo is better than a
DVR? I haven't a clue, but I guess the only way I can record with my
VCR, after we go to digital, is to record right at the time, so that
would be a pain, as would mostly need to record, when am going to be
away from home.

Another silly random thought.*
So... Archie needs help with arranging cuz his dad has been given teh boot.
David C sez "No prob! I'll help you out!"
Later... Seacrest announces the next contestant.. now called "Arc".
On to the stage swaggers D.A. wearing a black leather jacket with chrome studs,
Sunglasses with uber-cool clear slits where you can just see his eyes, torn
jeans, black boots and partly shaved head.
He breaks into "Good Morning Judge".

*- Just a silly thought. Had this been a real opinion, you would be advised
what to think.
