On the song "Permanent" it looks to me that Cook may have written this
song (or at least co-wrote) and I was wondering if it was written for
his brother who's been so ill?

Well, Christmas is behind us for another year, and hope you all had a
real nice one, however you celebrated?!

I was wondering if any of you bother to make a New Year's resolution(s)
or not? I use to be more inclined to do them when I was younger...the
usual "I WILL exercise more, go on a diet, save money (I'm bad at that!)
etc., etc., etc.," but by time I'd gotten a couple weeks into the new
year, I had already broken the resolution, and slipped back into my old
ways, so mostly now I just THINK about making them, but not whole
heartily, knowing I won't carry them through anyway! Maybe some of you
have more will power than I do, and stick with your resolutions? If so,
what will yours be...care to share?
