The classic mistake. The harm isn't in children hearing swear words, the
harm is in their parents not showing their disapprovement of their use. If
a kid hears a swear word, it ain't going to hurt them, but if they hear
their parents use them, that's where the damage begins. If a kid hears a
guy call a woman a Cunt, that's one thing, but if he hears his father call a
woman a Cunt that's quite another. Because if a kid who heard the word
repeats that slur in front of his father and the father is responsible,
he'll smack the shit out of that kid. If the father is a piece of shit, the
kid will have heard it from the father and the father will laugh at what the
kid just said.
