Two Rule Violations? (Spoilers)

In tonight's episode (from the Netherlands) I noticed two things which
could tentatively be considered rule violations -- one legal, one
game-related

- In the bike race to the roadblock, all the teams bike on the road. I
believe that under Dutch law, you're not supposed to do so if there's an
adjacent bike lane, which there clearly is at one point.

- At the roadblock Nicholas and Donald talk about watching the others
perform before deciding who will participate. My understaking is that
you're supposed to pick a participant before learning the details of the
task.

Well, that I can't answer. Obviously either TAR didn't consult Dutch
law or the police had better things to do.
