Gee, it sure was nice of the TAR producers to make sure that the
Floating Garden did not open until 10 AM. Thus, TK and Rachel's three-
hour deficit was reduced to perhaps 1 hour, at most.
This allowed all four teams to be at the airport at about the same
time.
Furthermore, Asians Ron and Christina asked their fellow Asians at the
ticket counter to deny tickets to non-Asians Nate and Jen. The ticket
agents possibly violated Japanese law by doing this.
So, instead of having the best flight, Nate and Jen get stuck on the
next flight.
So, in this episode, we have rigging by the producers and rigging by
Ron and Christina.
Yeah, Nate and Jen really lost fair and square.
Regards,
Alex K.

I checked several webpages not connected with TAR in any way, and those
are the real operating hours of the observatory. It would have been
rigging to have had it open earlier.

What Christina did at the counter has been done by other teams in the
past. And they didn't ask them to deny Nate and Jen tickets entirely,
only on that one flight.

Plus it's highly unlikely they denied them tickets just because they
asked, it just happened to work out that way.

_And_ we heard Christina say that they were fortunate to have gotten the
last seats on that flight. I didn't see any other teams in that shot, so
I don't think that was a cover-up statement. I think they probably did
luck onto the last set of four seats.

Anything is possible, especially to help their Asian fellows to win one
million dollars.
By the way, we have seen Ron and Christina speak to each other in Mandarin
many times including tonight's opening scene when Christina was upset and
told her dad it is not his business, why did they talk to locals in English
most of the times?
Well, next stop is Korea, if Christina speaks Korean, too, she deserves to
win.

When other teams did this in the past, ticket agents ignored them and
sold the tickets to the opposing teams anyway.
The editing in this episode makes it look as if the ticket agents lied
to Nate and Jen. If the ticket agent truly checked the computer and
truly saw that the flight was full BEFORE telling Nate and Jen that
the flight was full, then the ticket agent is owed an apology by the
producers of TAR.
What the ticket agent is *portrayed* as doing is UNPROFESSIONAL and
possibly UNLAWFUL.

Alex K.

I believe that Ron and Christina are Korean and were speaking Korean.
