It was hard to tell. If you're in a race and somebody says "Buy food"
then I would order $500 worth of rice and be done with it. Yes, you
are trying to help these people but you're also in a race. Pailin and
Natalie asked the charity organizers what they needed and the charity
organizers either assumed that the stores were all closed that late at
night or else just needed the money. We don't know how much of a gap
there was between them and the final team.

The comment about Bernie being "over the hill" or something to that
effect was over the top. At least if people in the other teams start
to dislike him then we'll know why: we never really did know why
people hated the Malaysian Mums in TARA 2, except maybe owing to the
fact that they fakd out the Korean team and that might have been what
got them eliminated. Henry is already on record saying he doesn't
like Geoff.
I wonder if Mai and Oliver can catch up. Those who have seen the
episode already know that when she read the first clue she said
(paraphrased) "That's not far from here... but if we go now we'll face
hours of operation because it doesn't open until 6:00" and then they
went back to bed and were actually surprised to find all the other
teams waiting outside the place when they finally got there. Wow.
Are children not taught about The Tortoise and the Hare in schools in
Thailand? I'm curious to see how far they are behind the first six
teams after having missed their flight out of Thailand.
