Ida and Tania were celebrating as though they had already won the
hundred thousand dollars when they got on the first flight to
Vietnam. I don't think they expected the second flight to arrive so
soon after the first one. Geoff didn't seem to realize that he, Tisha
and four other teams had caught the last flight out of Thailand that
evening: he must have assumed that all four other teams had caught the
first flight because he was freaking out, thinking that he and Tisha
were going to be the last teams to arrive and be eliminated. Natalie
was the one who freaked out at the airport. When Mai saw how Pailin
was suffering having Natalie as a partner, I think she got some
insight into what Oliver had to put up with but, rather than apologize
to him, she just commented about how much of a better pairing he and
Pailin would have been. "You and Pailin both want this" she said,
implying that she never really wanted to be in the race and was just
going along with him because it was something he wanted to do.
