Interesting mix, with lots of North American connections

1 team is a retired US Navy man and his spouse
1 team lived in Canada
1 team lived in Mexico, with one of the team members having a Mexican spouse
Several of the teams have an Asian/American blood line

Non North America - several of the teams have an Asian/Australian blood line
One is French
One team compared themselves to Romber as said they would chew Romber up
and spit them out because they're 10 times better.
One has a hearing impaired racer and the team members use sign language.
This one seemed like a bit of a gimmick until they mentioned the
situations where it might be necessary to communicate but speaking isn't
possible, such as a noisy environment or from a distance away.

TARA2 starts November 22.

I rather like the look of the cast. Maybe I'm just biased because the USA
version of any TV show trying to cast for 'beauty' will fill their cast with
silicone whereas the TAR Asia cast actually seems to be naturally attractive
women.

I know the USA version of the show is always 'more diverse' because it adds
old people and fat people, but then all we do is complain about the
existence of teams that have 'no shot at winning'. Personally, I'd rather
watch a race where everyone has a shot at winning than a race where the
'entertainment' is to see how long grandpa can hold out before dropping.
