Just watched first 2 parts on YouTube. A&C left 15 minutes earlier
than P & N yet didn't pass them until P&N had the flat. A & D also
made up good time on T & H. Quite a change of positions before the
first task.

Will watch the rest later - off to ice fish ;-)

The only time the guys really annoyed me this episode was when they were
talking about how tough the competition is for them. I realize that all 6
teams finished the last leg within a half hour of each other, but still,
these guys don't really have any tough competition.

They like to ham for the camera, so it was probably just their attempt to
say something memorable. If not that, then they were taking a calculated
guess about when the episode would air on TV and actually trying to deliver
a message to the 'home' audience.

But there is also the INCREDIBLE amount of dumb luck that these seem to
carry like a third team member. Picking the right lock the first time,
the police escort, that kind of stuff happens to certain people over and
over again while the other teams struggle for the occasional break. And
those two are good enough they don't need any help like that.
