Well, after the success of season 2, you can certainly see the
formula. Out of twenty people, three are beauty queens, three are
models, one is a TV host, one is an actress / producer / director, one
is an actress / model, one is an actress / TV host, one is a TV host /
agent and one is a sports agent. That means over half of them (12 by
my count) are in the entertainment industry. That's compared to 9
people from season 2 and 8 people from season 1. (Zabrina and Jer Jer
were TV producers before joining the race.) Good Lord! I'm looking
forward to the Maxim and FHM pictorials already. Seriously.

Besides having a lot of models and actresses, TARA's contestants have
been mainly skewed towards foreigners with Andy, Laura, Francesca and
Howard being all British, Sandy being from New Zealand, Henry being

speak and read English fluently. This year, Natalia is actually from
Russia and I'm not sure about Geoff and Oliver: they look European but
they could be Eurasian like a lot of the contestants from Season 2.
Officially the contestents for the first three seasons have
represented Hong Kong (4 teams), Thailand (4 teams), the Philippines
(5 teams), India (3 teams), Singapore (3 teams), South Korea (1 team),
Japan (1 team), Indonesia (2 teams), Sri Lanka...

I find myself looking forward to the TAR Asia race more than 'regular' TAR.
