TAR 12.6 ratings

With most reruns on Sunday night's schedule, it is good to use a good TAR
episode as Sunday night refreshment. Many of 20 million plus Patriot and
Steeler fans also stay to watch 60 Minutes and TAR. Not so much love left
for Cold Case and Shark though, both set series record low ratings. Now
Shark has only 9 million viewers compared to TAR's 12 million. Next fall,
when CBS need to cut something, it will be Shark.

8-9 PM Time Slot Ratings:

7.7/12 Extreme Makeover (Home Edition)
7.6/12 NBC Sunday Night Football

4.3/7 Fox Comedies

TAR 12 ratings:

Week 1: 8.3/13 (8:27 to 9:27) (8.1/12--CBS 8:30 to 9)
(8.5/13--CBS 9 to 9:30)
Week 2: 6.8/10
Week 3: 7.6/12
Week 4: 7.6/11
Week 5: 6.8/10
Week 6: 7.3/11 (8:25 to 9:25) (8.3/12--CBS 8 to 9)

You must also remember that there are far more TV viewers in the 8pm-9pm
slot than there are in the 10pm-11pm slot. That smaller viewer base is
further eroded by numerous local newscasts from 10pm-11pm. (I have my
choice of three local newscasts from 10pm-11pm, including FOX local news.)
7%% of an 8pm audience is more than 7%% of a 10pm audience.

So of your big 4 local affils only 2 have news at 10cst?
