You stated to Obveeus;
http://tinyurl.com/2vj584
...that you doubted it was "much more" than 20%%. Whatever the
definition Obveeus may have given of "much more", you clearly defended
the 20%% figure in terms of population. Perhaps you were willing to go
up to 22%% or maybe even 24%%, but certainly not 32%% as we see later.
Had you stated to Obveeus, "I don't really know how many saw the game,
I was only talking about geographic area." then he'd probably have a
good laugh and then dropped it. But you not only defended your claim,
you questioned his source...

You "doubted" it based on changes that TWO CBS affiliates had made.
Problem is, WWNY is tiny & WBBM was already accounted for in YOUR
coverage map;
http://tinyurl.com/2ospoe
....a map generated BEFORE that weekend just like the source Obveeus
used, so how do you know Obveeus' source didn't already account for
it? When you stated that the number of stations that didn't show the
Pit/Jet game was only a "partial" list, I asked for the complete list
and suddenly it now doesn't exist. Go figure.
I think Obveeus said it best;

You were confronted by his source, something you couldn't tear up and
suddenly the number YOU cited and defended was NEVER about population.
Puh-leeeeze.
Your "semantics" question that I supposedly have failed to answer
either YES____ or NO_____. was answered, repeatedly and yet you wish
the response fit your interpretation instead of the truth. One more
time, had your original post NOT included the final line;
"CBS's only late game - Pittsburgh/NY Jets - was seen by less than 20%%
of the country."
...then it would've been a clear statement of geography. The silly
"by" or "in" arguement you make is too funny for words. Either term
would've still prompted Obveeus's response and you would've defended
it as population as you did for several posts. It is your follow-up
posts that seal your fate and yet you wish to "turn back
time" (hopefully not wearing Cher's outfit from that video) and
pretend it was all about something else.
azurespirit is also right, it's time to end this thread as we are
getting nowhere. But it was sorta fun while it lasted....oh well, I
can always wonder how a neutral site in another state is somehow just
like a "home" game. Just like if USC played at the Rose Bowl wearing
home colors and having more fans than the visitors, it would be
EXACTLY like playing in the LA Coliseum...exactly...ha ha ha...:)
Toodles.
