Wow, no twenty minutes of running around an airport? What gives? How
do you keep a show afloat without endless scenes of people sitting
around an airport? Good Lord, don't you know that otherwise great
shows like "I Love Lucy", "The Andy Griffith Show", "Cheers", etc. had
such a short run on TV because they didn't devote 1/3rd of each show
to being at the airport?
"Rickeeeee, I wanna be a stewardess!"
"Pa, we can't take business class, it'll get us eliminated."
"NORM!!!...you can't fly after drinking all that beer." "Shuddap,
Woody."
Its official, due to the appearance of two "non-elimination" legs, no
press release from CBS will ever be taken seriously again. And to all
you with "insider info", please keep it to yourselves as it should not
be believed.
Let's get to the teams;
Grandpa Gut 'n Wonderboy
Their Big Agenda: Pick up chicks 'n get tattoos.

Is seven minutes at a bus station and five on a boat an acceptable
substitute? We wouldn't want you to go in to withdrawal or anything.

Another added question: am I the only one that thought that the ultra-light
task looked like a 'no skill' task? Yes, I know that TK blew it big time,
but the task itself looked like one designed specifically for that team
member that cannot actually function; so that the weak link in each team
could move closer to fulfilling their quota of tasks. So, TK, Nathan,
Christina, and Vyxsin probably should not have been up there to begin with.

Having good powers of observation is definitely a skill. We've seen
teams lose races before because they failed to quickly spot something
they were supposed to.

Yes, From what I understand Italian drivers will run over pedestrians
if it will get them to their destination 30 seconds soon.

Grandpa would probably might well have wandered around up there
forever looking for Vinci. He might even have come back and said the
clue was "Vidi."
But he would have made it off the ground, because:
1. He's got a gut, but he's a borderline dwarf.
2. *I* made it off the ground in an ultralite just fine 4 years ago.
If I did it, I know Grandpa would have, and I'm willing to bet you
would have as well.
I just had to tune into the board to see who was eliminated. I missed
the episode and my daughter had recorded it for me. But she had only
recorded the original hour slot. So I missed the elimination. Except
there was no elimination. So I guess I didn't miss it.

The "ci" were close enough together that I was expecting someone to come
back and say the word was "vino".

I thought the same thing and actually thought it said "vino" the first time
they showed it.
