Crap - just keep tossing items on and off hoping to get it correct.
Less thinking, more doing LOL. Nice seeing all 3 still neck and
neck.

Tough roadblock - good bunching point. Any one of the three could have
emerged from that in first.

Although running around downtown probably would have been grandpa's
downfall. Once again, we have no clue how long it took them to finish
the roadblock and complete the rest of the course...or if they even had to.

Take care,
Rich

God bless the USA

If I had to guess, I'd guess that they were pulled from the course once the
first two teams had finished the race. Having the person that forgot to
bring the equipment from the store try and do a memory task of the
race...hmmm, didn't you just know how that would work out?

Grandpa gets no points for thinking, either. How was it only Nick's fault
that they forgot the stuff? Sure, he read the clue, but does that mean
Grandpa isn't supposed to be listening to it?

Speaking of things that don't make sense: did teams really have a choice as
to which person did the final Roadblock? Wasn't there a limit like in the
past few years so that whatever player had done fewer to this point in the
race had to do the last Roadblock to fulfill the quota/limit?

According to that ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE source Wikipedia (yea, whatever)
here's the roadblock counts at the end of the race.

Thanks. For whatever reason, I thought the first leg of the race had no
Roadblock, but it was the Detour that that episode didn't have in it.

The kid had a decent strategy: First pile all the items on the stage,
and then start removing items one by one that don't match the
constraints stated in the clue. Because you needed most of the items to
succeed.

He just couldn't remember, that's all.

Yeah, I don't understand how that team made it to the finish line.
They don't have the brains for it.
