Ratings Comparison: Power of Ten vs. The Amazing Race

Last night CBS' new Power of Ten finished the third on its time slot. The
actual number 5.0/8 is not only worse than last fall's TAR 10 premiere
(6.4/10), but all 25 episodes of TAR except one have better ratings.

The number would be worse if Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is new.

First off "Viva Laughlin" is the designated show for this timeslot and
it's not due to premiere (last time I checked) until mid-October. "The
Power of 10" is temporary and any attempt to "decifer" the meaning of
the ratings in comparison to TAR10 seems a bit out there to me.

Second, CBS is clearly past this point about TAR and it's ratings on
Sunday night. If they were happy with it, they would've kept it
there.

It was late for about 10 minutes for everything on the schedule due to
football game the past Sunday.

The next season of TAR will skip having 2 of the non-elimination leg
episodes. You won't miss anything except some pointless race extending
segments.

Thanks! I don't care if they have less non-elimination legs. In fact I'd
rather they just had one at the end of the first leg so everyone has a
chance to, 'get in the groove', so to speak. When they eliminate a team
after just one leg it's like we hardly even got to know them.
