Pirate Master money sharing

In the latest episode of Pirate Master the 'triad' of male power decided to
stop sharing three money equally amongst the winners. Obviously, money is
good both in terms of raw value and because the 'pardon' has made it a
necessary part of the game to have more money that the 'other guy'.
However, short changing the other winners is bound to make them all mad.

If I had been in charge, my solution would have been to give everyone equal
shares EXCEPT I would taken ALL of Joy's share and distributed that 'extra'
among the 'Triad'. Tell everyone that she got nothing because she performed
so poorly in the challenge and didn't deserve to be on the boat any longer.
Then, black spot her. In that way, only one person would be mad at the
Captain (and officers) instead of everyone while the captain and officers
would still get extra loot..

Especially if they can find two sea turtles. ;-)

On Pirate Master, they don't actually need to mutiny, though. If Joy had
just sat down and said 'I do not feel like going after the treasure', the
Captain and Officers would have been replaced.

It's very easy - next time the red crew wins a challenge the new
captain puts the spot on all three of them. There isn't a snowflake's
chance in hell they could successfully mount a mutiny under these
circumstances.

People seem to be afraid of going against the capitan. What do they think is
going to happen? They are going to walk the plank? sheeesh....

Good strategy but I doubt anyone would come up with that themselves. If
it was pre-planned it would be an excellent twist.
