Football ended around 4:30 and Amazing Race would have started at
8:00. I see no conflict.

I'm guessing that you live in a metro area with an NFL team that
played at home yesterday (NY, perhaps?)
Most of the country had a doubleheader on CBS, and the second game,
Denver-SD, ran almost an hour over. Those in cities that fit the
above description only receive one game. (At least, that was the rule
a while ago, something about having another game on TV would hurt the
live attendance. Probably only for teams like the Lions or
Cardinals!)

Neither do I, my West Coast friend, but those East Coasters wait til
1pm to start their football. Is that crazy or what?

I know not watching football at 10:00 sounds crazy to me also. But
then again those East Coasters don't know that unlike China the whole
country does not have one time zone.

I know, I don't like the bitching every week either. Why can't the
people on the East Coast just record the whole night on CBS, 8-11 pm?
Then you can just go to bed and when you wake up, just fast forward to
when Amazing Race starts and watch it that way? That's what I would do
if I lived on the East Coast.
Maybe...happy to live on the West Coast in this instance!

Sometimes we get to see the show only 2 1/2 hours before you instead
of 3 ... :-)

Bill Cosby does a skit about why he doesn't go to church ... Church
is at 10 AM ... Football's at 10 AM ... sorry God ... and he's an East
Coast transplant ...
