I think Singapore is a bit more advanced in that respect than Malaysia
or Indonesia. Anyway, if you're right then Tisha (from the
Philippines) was being extremely naive when she said that her and her
partner were the "only [romantic] couple" in the race. I also wonder
about Vince and Sam in that respect.
I also suspect that Oliver desperately wants to get in Mai's pants. I
noticed how disappointed he looked when after he said that he and Mai
were "just friends" she laughed and said "Oh no we're not a couple!
There's no chance of that!"
