And has TAR ever been to Canadian cities?
TAR Brazil only went to Brazil and Chile so a low budget Canadian
version could be done that just goes around North America. (They can
save a lot of money because most places they could drive to.) But if
TAR has had Canadian contestants and visited Canadian cities then that
would be redundant. Same logic if they've had contestants from the
UK. Hmm. A TAR: International produced by CBS with teams from around
the world might be interesting, especially for us non-Americans.

At one time there was a plan for a TAR Europe. Supposedly audition
tapes were accepted, but that was the last I heard. It apparently never
got off the ground.
Take care,

Given the stated budget of TAR vs what air tickets cost I don't think
the travel is that big a portion of the budget.

I stand corrected...or, more accurately, sit corrected.
Take care,
Rich

I believe you must be an American to compete in the original TAR -
think of the visa headaches for the producers if they let everyone in
the world apply.
And besides the other references posted, TAR has come to Toronto. They
used the CN Tower, the Docks, and, I think the Bata Shoe Museum as
tasks.
