Good Morning, all
The Internet and cell phones. Both are booming for the last several
years, which brings us to today's trivia question.
Do you still get the daily newspaper delivered to you and do you still
pay for a land line?
Me. Yes, on both. I want to (unsubscribe) but just haven't been able
to cut the cord yet.

No to both.
Local phone company is a rip-off, and as long as I have a cell phone, why
bother?
Local paper is a joke, and I'm not going to waste $11 a month when they
won't print the truth.

We tried subscribing to several newspapers, in different parts of the
country, when we moved to the US many years ago, but found that any
local paper had no concept of national or, even worse, world news, and
we hated to waste so much paper on what was mainly advertisements. The
few national papers worth considering are all biased towards economists
and business.
Most of our immediate news comes from Canadian TV (yes, even of American
events), and then later from British publications, which give more ...

Don't take a daily paper, but my primary news source is still radio with
TV and internet vying for second. I'm not as impressed with the local
paper as Barbara. ;-) Still use a land line since it is cheaper for the
calling we do and cell reception is terrible in our house.
