I started this one in MF yesterday, but today's another day and
there's a different book closest to my current location. It goes like
this:

1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.

Me:

Feminists should realize that our enemies have basically given up when
they resort to citing chivalry as an argument against women's
equality. "Feminism will bring an end to chivalry" isn't really so
much of an argument as an impotent threat. The nonargument, rephrased
for clarity, is, "Nice pedestal you got there; be a shame if something
happened to it."

For those unfamiliar with Today's Trivia from Worldnet, it was a
long-running series begun by Martha Sheppard and continued by Dantu. I
started doing the Sunday version awhile back to give Martha a break, and
when Dantu began doing the Sunday versions I switched to a magazine format.
So all you oldcomers can enjoy or not... I am utterly indifferent, and only
continue it because it's fun and keeps my brain from sinking into geriatria.

After a bout with a minor medical problem, I dipped my toe into the worldnet
groups and learned of AT&T's impending cancellation of worldnet newsgroups.
There seems to be no point of subscribing to worldnet ISP when I get
optonline free. Or am I wrong?
