how do you explain trees burried in strada vertically, upside down, root
ball and all?
"They usually consist of fossil trees that were buried upright, and which
often traverse multiple layers of strata such as sandstone, limestone,
shale, and even coal beds. They range in size from small rootlets to trees
over 80 feet long. "

And the Hebrew bible version of the flood is not 100%% accurate. So why do
you always harp on the details in THAT ONE BOOK when there are hundreds of
flood stories in every culture on earth?? Anyone that made it to 4900 feet
above sea level lived. Even Noah and his boat.
How do you explain fossils on top of mountains? These fosiles are IN TACT
and not disturbed by the upshifting of continents that created mountains?

Well, I would seek to explain trees BURIED in STRATA upside down as either
being blown over into an anoxic lake in a storm, or perhaps landslide.
It really is that simple.

You got to be kidding ;).

Man, why don't you ask something science can't yet answer, like ,,how come
the universe exists?'' or ,,how come matter isn't smoothly placed in the
universe but lumpy with great voids?''. Instead you ask that stupid crap
science has helped us understand centurys ago.

A flood is not an act of god but far more easy to explain. I guess 2000
years ago, when physics wasn't even properly defined, it was easier to
say, a river causing a flood has nothing to do with heavy rainfalls in the
mountains, but is an act of god.
Today we know more. We have more information to look at. Actually the
rhine, a quite big river in germany, floods the Rheinwiesen right now.
What caused it? Act of god or rainfalls?

OK, since you have the answers, then explain this as well: where did all
that water come from? Even if the ice caps were to melt, the global
flooding would only go 200 feet above sea level. You might also want to
ask, "Where did all that go?" I have some doubt that it was destroyed by
some sort of nuclear process, the only real way it could "disappear,"
because the energy release in such a process would also destroy the Earth.

You left out a word: yet. Scientists cannot explain certain things yet,
and nobody is afraid to admit it.

Oh, yeah.
I have to ask, Sam. I've seen you on several occasions attempt to have
a reasoned discussion with 'adman'. Where do you find the patience?
