Funny, I don't remember seeing those seeds in your list of seeds to
store.

Sounds like somthing south of the border. I'm getting my tomatos and
peppers from a nursery. I've started thenm in post before under
lights, but I don't want to do that anymore. If the nursery offers
tomatillo starts, I'll buy a few.

In Britain we put a saucer of beer out near the crops that need protecting,
slugs can not resist the scent, they then climb up and drink the beer, get
drunk, fall in and drown.

I am 5yrs in Organic Gardening, the EASTERN WAY, which is different
from the Western Techiques. Slugs breed in Cess Pool in the Garden.
To kil Slugs sprinkle a little Salt, it will Melt for sure.
Do want to know more of my methods, no chemicals will be required
email shahwin@multi.net.pk. I will reply promptly

Not the little gray slugs in California. I sat down with a salt shaker
and watched. They'd foam and crawl out from under the salt, even when
completely buried.

Check your own slugs and don't just sprinkle some on and walk off. Sit
down and watch.

Salt is bad for the soil, as well.

Put out a saucer of beer, no less than 3/4" deep.

Refresh as necessary as the slugs crawl in and drown.

The $1.49 a six pack stuff is good enough, though if you feel like
giving them a really good last meal..perhaps a microbrew?

You'll need a big soup bowl if you want to try that with banana slugs .

I think something is killing slugs off locally as they don't cover the
sidewalks after a rain like they used to.
