I once had a doctor tell me I had traces of emphysema. Stupid me, for
scheduling a physical the day after I'd spent in a smoky bar which I
had helped to fill up with smoke myself, and my chest hurt from over-
smoking.
Anyhoo. I still was never as cool as Amy Winehouse. Couldn't sing as
well as she can, either.
I hope girlfriend is able to get her shit together, though, or she
gon' wind up dead. Or DAY-id, as we say here in the South.
:P

One day waiting in a hotel lobby at an elite meet, I was kidding around
with Jef. We had some time to kill before we went to Chicago and were
doing some of the tasteless rude stuff from NCFC, like uhhh well uhhhh
tracheotomy man. Used to play that show over and over when I was
younger. Had a video tape of it and played it till it was all gone. I swear
Jef either has a better memory or went through several tapes like that, coz
he knows that show by heart. Usually I really hate waiting, but I nearly
pissed
myself laughing that morning. Was a good intro to what was waiting for me,
a car ride to Chicago that was pretty much the funniest floorshow one could
fit in a car.
Don't know about Amy Winehouse being cool, I agree she sure as hell
isn't hot. In my book you're cooler and hotter at the same time,
whether you think you're in the running or not. *And* you can sing! *big hug
